Here is the video

Here is the story.  I am learning Modo and to do so I've been trying (and by and large failing) to convert what I can do in Wings3D to Modo.  So I asked Peter for some clues and he was kind enough to make this video for me showing how he would tackle one of the Wings models I'd been struggling to recreate.  What a nice man!

»modo« is a great integrated program. But you can always use various tools to create things. modo is different to »Wings3D« because the latter on is a box modeler which always (more or less) produces closed shapes. In modo you can operate on vertices alone. Which means: Why throw away the knowledge about Wings3D by just using modo? You can of course use both. Which I do. I've learned Wings3D for about 4 years so I also learned thinking in Wings3D. For me it's just faster to model most things in Wings3D than in modo.

Having said that: There is of course nothing against learning the the depth of the great modo! And teaching videos are always appreciated!
